18th Century Louis XV Marquetry Regional Slope Desk

About This Piece

Vintage Design

Regional slope desk in country wood veneer, drowning essentially.
It opens in the upper part by a slaughter discovering two niches and five small drawers with large veneer facades. This flap offers a 76 by 34 cm worktop, garnished in its center with a two -friez black leather piece, the first on a hard background, the second golden. Its facade is marked with a two -tone border and a long -stem flower in the heart of a medallion with a slush magnifying glass.
There are similar decorations on the lower part, consisting of two drawers 15 cm deep with draw handles and brass and bronze lock entrances.
Each of these three openings have an entourage in a plum and lock. This small desk is provided with its three keys.
The sides are also embellished with fine marked frames and wood threads, elements present on the entire furniture, including inside the slaughter.
The low crosspieces are Chantournées and this slope office rests on four high arched feet.
