Chinese coffer in red and gilt lacquered wood opening by a top flap thanks to a brass latch. Gilt decor on a red background figuring birds, trees and flowers. Two brass handles on both sides to carry it. Inscription with Asian characters inside the flap. Chinese work realized in the 19th century. Miss the back hinges. Uses on lacquer and wood. Dimensions: H 30 x W 71 x D 46 cm.
