Vintage Design

Farm table made in Italy in the early 1800s using cherry and pegged construction. This is a very simple and clean-lined table that would be a great addition to any household looking for a sturdy kitchen table that marries the idea of elegant and country. The table features a two-board top with ogee edge sitting on a flat apron and tapered legs. A single drawer with a lock is found on the front, however, the key is missing. Some chipping and scratches can be seen on the top, however, they blend beautifully in the piece and help giving some warmth and character to an, otherwise, very simple table. At 31 inches in height this table would be perfect as a kitchen island, but also as a desk where your kiddos can do their homework while you prep dinner. Or if your household is anything like ours, it can be that table your cat climbs on and starts pushing things off at 3 am.
