Rosewood Eclectic chest of drawers, completely original poplar frame, handcrafted manufacture, Naples, Southern Italy, second half 19th-century Object: Rosewood chest of drawers Period: 1870/1880 Style: Late Louis Philippe Provenance: Naples, southern Italy Description: Dresser chest of drawers 4 drawers, made in the Neapolitan area in 1870/1880. First of all, skillful craftsmanship, excellent choice of wood. Classic and elegant Neapolitan chest of drawers with browned columns. Piano in original marble. The rest of the furniture is also in good condition. Necessarily integration of the veneer largely into the lower area of the drawer. Poplar wood structure completely original, also present the intermediate floors between a drawer and the other to avoid falling material and accumulation of dirt. High chest of drawers suitable for a classic furnishing or to give an added value to a more modern furnishing or to a study or commercial activity.
