20th Century Demi-Lune Dresser with Marble Top, 1930s

Vintage Design

French half moon chest of drawers from the first half of the 20th century. Louis XVI style furniture of exceptional quality inlaid and veneered in mahogany, rosewood, maple, palisander and fruitwood with decorations in gilded bronze and brass. Dresser adorned with geometric inlay and very pleasant central vase with flowers (see photo). Furniture with original marble top of excellent size and service of considerable weight (about 3.5 cm thick). Marble top that has undergone a restoration, now in good condition and in a beautiful patina. Dresser that has three central drawers and two side doors, of excellent capacity (see photo). Ideal sideboard to be placed in an important living room or studio, for antique dealers and interior decorators. Complete with three working keys, it has some small wooden defects (see photo). Furniture missing the decoration of the rear right foot (see photo). Dresser supported by four solid fluted wooden legs, of good stability and solidity. It shows some signs of the time, structurally sound, overall in a fair good state of conservation and in a beautiful patina.
