Abstract Composition is an original artwork realized in pencil by Jean Dreyfus-Stern in the first decades of the XX Century. Pencil on paper. Hand-signed by the artist in ink on the lower right corner. Good conditions. Fresh and rapid sketch representing an abstract composition realized with spots of pure tempera color. Light blue and white with a touch of grey. The surface is brilliant and bright and the colors are mixed together. The artwork has been realized by Jean Dreyfus-Stern (Paris, 1890 - Paris, 1980), a pupil of Maurice Denis and Antoine Bourdelle. He was captured by painting and became the pupil of Charles-François-Prosper Guérin (for painting) and Bernard Naudin (for engraving) and he attended the Académie Colarossi.
