About This Piece

Vintage Design

Pair of acrylic and brass serpent snake candlesticks by Italian designer Alessandro Albrizzi. Circa 1970s.

The candlesticks have a strong sculptural presence. Standing on plinth bases, the snakes scroll sinuously up the stems. The snakes can be rotated around the stem. Their tails are sharp!

They are in good vintage condition, showing some marks to the acrylic and brass, this having the original patina. The snakes' brass tongues are missing tiny pieces. They are both structurally sound, and have no other damage.
