Original signed Romanian modernist landscape (70 × 60 cm / 27.6" × 23.6"), oil on canvas, presented in a vintage decorative frame. Signed "A. Țipoia" — see close-up photos. The composition features a red-roof house set in a calm rural landscape, with expressive brushwork and a warm, balanced palette. Estimated 1960s. Ready to hang.
Alexandru Tipoia was a Romanian modernist painter active in the mid-20th century, working in the tradition of Romanian landscape painting with a distinctive expressive quality and sensitivity to light and color. His works are held in private collections across Romania and internationally, and represent an important strand of Romanian modernist art from the communist period — when artists found in landscape painting a refuge from ideological constraints.
This is a genuine signed original work — not a reproduction or print. The signature "A. Țipoia" is clearly visible and documented in close-up photos. A rare opportunity to acquire an authentic signed Romanian modernist painting from the 1960s.
Condition: very good vintage. Paint surface well preserved. Frame shows minor age-related wear. Ready to hang.
