This antique Art Nouveau hall stand has a wonderful shape & some lovely features. It’s in excellent condition & dates from around the 1890s period.

The colour of the solid oak is nice & light, almost bleached. The brass handles are original & so are the round copper trays on the base. The mirror is adjustable & the floral carvings on the middle panel are superb & typical of the Art Nouveau period.

It has to be one of the nicest hat & coat stands I've had. Because of the lightness of the wood & the lovely overall shape, this stand would fit well into modern or traditional room settings.
