About This Piece

Vintage Design

This Chinoiserie bureau bookcase features three long drawers at the bottom, a cabinet at the top with several shelves, and a central lid that, when opened and supported by two side panels, transforms into a hidden desk with small drawers inside. The piece is authentically designed with Asian motifs in gold. A striking red lacquer allows the gold-painted details to provide an elegant contrast and a sophisticated finish.
