This is an antique lamp - bronze and Chinese enameled porcelain parakeet from the period of early 20th Century. It is a charming little antique lamp, carefully mounted and an original, of a very beautiful Chinese porcelain, white and yellow enamel, representing a parakeet with folded wings. The parakeet is serenely perched on a rocky openwork base. It is from the Qing Dynasty around 1900 to 1910. The dimensions are in cm: Total Height: 40 x Width 11. The height of the budgie: 20.7 cm. The shade height is 14.5 cm. Top Width: 9.3 cm. Bottom Width: 18.3 cm. Wear consistent with age and use.
