Vintage Design

This pair of bronze Antique Warwick vases or planters was produced in Italy in the early 19th century. The top has a gadroon edge and the body is decorated in high relief with male masks (the heads of eight gods) and supported by two solid and ornamental intertwined vine handles, all above a circular fluted base. They come with removable bowls inside. They carry a foundry mark CD and a number 1539 impressed on the bottom.
