This lovely pair of beech wood stools with horse hoof feet, which are dinstinctive in Chinese furniture, make useful additional seating or can be used as handy side tables or vase stands.

Originating from Suzhou, in Jiangsu province, circa 1900, with soft rattan inlays in the seat tops that are supported underneath by a woven material and a curved wooden central frame.
