Vintage Design

Antique crystal and emerald glass candlestick attributed to the Vallérysthal Crystal Works (France), late 19th century.

This candlestick is distinguished by an elegant contrast between its solid, clear crystal base (a single piece ensuring its stability) and its emerald green blown glass stem.
The glasswork is "pinched" or serrated on the upper rim and at the joint.
Under the base, a square symbol is visible within an old patina of oxidation (verdigris), attesting to its original assembly and suggesting a protective and authentic mark.
Good overall condition. Normal scratches are present under the base, along with a few air bubbles indicative of its antique, handcrafted origin.
