Vintage Design

This antique Dutch Arts and Crafts hall bench is a beautiful example of early 20th-century craftsmanship.

The bench is crafted from solid oak and features sculptural side panels and a backrest with vertical slats. Typical characteristics of the Arts and Crafts movement.

Often referred to as a settie, this Arts and Crafts bench was originally intended for use in an entrance hall or sitting room. Today, it remains a practical and versatile piece that adds warmth and character to both traditional and contemporary interiors.

The solid oak has developed a beautiful natural patina over the decades, highlighting the quality of the timber and craftsmanship.
