This is a gorgeous antique Italian Rococo revival parcel-gilt serpentine commode with beautiful hand painted decoration in the manner of Francois Boucher, Circa 1880 in date. The chest features hand-painted panels with bouquets of flowers and floriate scrolls on a luxurious pastel grey and giltwood ground. The commode has a pair of drawers above a pair of panelled doors. Each door opens to reveal a cupboard with a central shelf. with original working lock and key. Dimensions in cm: Height 91 cm x Width 113 cm x Depth 50 cm
