Superb drawing room table dating from the 1920s, with a cast iron base and a walnut top.
A mechanism with a lifting pedal up to 1.5m high in inclined or flat position
This mechanism has a pedal and counterweight to facilitate the manipulation of tray inclinations,
This lifting can be done very easily, without forcing.
The cast iron counterweight drum is stamped La Parallele F Darnay 7 rue Coypel Paris XIIIeme.
The part under the tray, holding the tray is in brassed bronze.
