Mercier Frères in Paris - Chest of drawers from the Art Deco period around 1925, with a curved front, resting on 6 tapered legs, structure in molded maple, the sides animated parallel with holly fillets, the front opening with 3 drawers without crosspieces in a frame of Macassar ebony, the low belt carved with a stylized floral frieze gilded with the original leaf.

In the 1920s, Mercier opened a gallery, the Marble Palace, at 77, avenue des Champs-Elysées
House founded in 1850, at 100, faubourg Saint-Antoine, official supplier to the Spanish court
Claude Mercier seems to have stamped his works only very exceptionally. However, his descendants fixed engraved Mercier Frères plaques inside the furniture.
Mercier took stand 48 on the Esplanade des Invalides at the 1925 Exhibition
