A rare stoneware vase in the hexagonal geometrical Art Deco style, made by ROGER GUERIN in Bouffioulx around 1935. Celadon-coloured, the crystallisations are remarkable for this period, the first to be fired in a gas kiln! Signed "Grès Guérin Bouffioulx", numbered "725", bears a rare "XX" mark.
