Art Deco German Bar Cart in Burled Walnut with Sliding Glass Doors by Volz Edenkoben, 1920s

Made in the 20s of 30s by Volz in
The EDENKABEN / Rheinland Palatinate wine area,
Germany

The bar wagon is made of nut tree and with one
Relatively thick, beautiful root wood veneer
worked.
The car has two sections. The left section
is a glass showcase with glass sliding doors; also
The upper covers can be pushed out
will. There is a drawer below.

The closed side is on the right
Box version with hinged door and lid,
which also serve as preparation tables.

Inside there are brackets for 8 cognac /
Schnapps glasses. In the ground is a removable
Rectangular sheet metal bucket for ice cream to cool drinks
to keep. The inside is painted light mustard-colored.

A beautiful individually manufactured car,
which apparently was used little or
was treated with care. Some loose screws
had to be replaced. The missing lock was
replaced with a magnetic snapper and one
matching furniture button from that time. Allegedly

The bikes are in very good condition and see
Almost like new.

Condition:
The car is of course old, but has only minimal
Signs of wear. All wooden surfaces hardly have
Visible scratches and are still in very good condition.
There are a few traces of abrasion under the sheet metal ice cream bucket
in the paint that you don't see when the bucket
is used.
The glass cover above has a few scratches,
But you only see them when you against the light
looks.
