Vintage Design

Elegant Art Deco armchair designed by Gyula Kaesz in the 1930s. This exceptional piece features a beautifully restored solid wood frame, showcasing the designer’s signature curved lines and refined proportions. The wood structure has been professionally restored, preserving its original character while ensuring structural stability. The cushions have been newly reupholstered in a soft-touch velvet fabric, offering both luxurious comfort and a sophisticated appearance. The flowing, bent forms and graceful silhouette make this armchair a striking yet harmonious addition to any interior, whether modern, eclectic, or classic. Gyula Kaesz (1897–1967) was one of the most significant Hungarian interior architects and furniture designers of the 20th century, renowned for his refined modernism and outstanding craftsmanship.
