Ask the rust Table Year: 2015 Materials: rusted iron, polished Carrara marble Dimensions: 200 x 100 x 76 cm. Ask the rust is a piece about the perception of the objects that surround us and our chance of encoding their meaning. The six legged metal frame is covered in rust generated by the forces of time. This same element, in contrast, acts as a pedestal for a precious white Carrara marble slab. Morghen is a multidisciplinary studio that works on the boundaries between design, art and craftsmanship. They rely on techniques passed on by the artisan heritage mixed with experimentation and contemporary materials. Every single piece is conceived, developed and handcrafted in a carefully renovated old carpenter’s shop located in the Milanese Bovisa district. Every single piece evolves from and assimilates previous theoretical and practical research. Every single piece is unique. Their work encompasses objects, furniture, lighting and spaces.

You will be responsible for further transport beyond that point. We recommend asking a family member or friend for an extra hand; alternatively, you may upgrade to In-Home Delivery (see below). The delivery partner will email and/or call you at least one day in advance to arrange a delivery time. A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection. Item will be left in its packaging after delivery. A signature will be required upon delivery.
In-Home Delivery: (For in-home delivery service, additional fees apply. For unusually large or heavy items, we recommend asking a family member or friend for an extra hand, as we cannot send more than 2 drivers.
