Autumnal Lake', oil on board, by unknown Eastern European artist (circa 1960s). So many beautiful and undervalued works emanate from Eastern Europe and this depiction is no different. Sparkling blue water with small islands of autumnal colour grace this breathtaking artwork. Inspired by the style of the great impressionists, the water's reflections could be from Monet's treatment of the River Thames or Paris' Seine. Wonderful detail and execution of painting make for a very high quality work of art. In very good vintage condition. Newly framed with linen slip.
