Balance table by Lee Sisan 2019 Dimensions : W 130 x D 45 x H 65 cm Materials : Powder Coated Steel, Natural Stone Each piece is made to order and uses natural stones, so please expect some variability in design. The clamp, the iron plate, and the stone coexist in a situation which they are dependent on each other. The clamp that fixes the iron plate still acts as a bridge, while the stone becomes the counter weight of the cantilever sturcture. This highlights the meaning of material’s fundamental existence. The table works by maintaining a balance in a relationship between artifacts, nature, and its materials. Lee Sisan is a designer and artist based in Seoul, South Korea. He majored in interior design to explore the relationship between nature, artifact and humans. He identifies the essence of the material and make form of refined language. He conducts experiments in which man-made beings coexist in harmony with nature and maintain balance.

You will be responsible for further transport beyond that point. We recommend asking a family member or friend for an extra hand; alternatively, you may upgrade to In-Home Delivery (see below). The delivery partner will email and/or call you at least one day in advance to arrange a delivery time. A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection. Item will be left in its packaging after delivery. A signature will be required upon delivery.
In-Home Delivery: (For in-home delivery service, additional fees apply. For unusually large or heavy items, we recommend asking a family member or friend for an extra hand, as we cannot send more than 2 drivers.
