Fabrizio Lavagna was born in Savona on 18/12/1971 In 2004 he enrolled at the Carrera Academy of Fine Arts, attending the painting course of Omar Galliani. The following year he began working in Pietrasanta where he began to use large formats. In 2006 he won a scholarship for the Universidad de Bellas Artes de Murcia, Spain, where he approached Spanish culture and traditional music and its forms, so much so that he was nominated by the same university for the Beca Bottin. From this moment on, the path towards the spectacularization of the work continues through the search for new surfaces and new materials.
