About This Piece

Vintage Design

One of the icon of Polish mid-century design, a pair of beige armchairs, designed by Edmund Homa - Polish architect, industrial and interior design designer, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. The set has been manufactured by Goscicinska Furniture Factory in Poland in the 1960s. The structure is made of solid beech wood in a warm palisander color, finished with a semi matte varnish. The upholstery is made of a high quality linen and cotton fabric in warm beige color. The set has been professionally restored - both wood and upholstery - by specialist craftsmen to the highest quality using only traditional techniques and preserving the original character of the pieces.
