Two similar cupboards from Bohemian Biedermeier around 1830-1835.

On the socked four -canted feet of one -door pieces of furniture. The doors are designed in frame and filling with a large and a small filling field. The grain is clean and symmetrically laid from the base to the cornice. The veneers of both pieces of furniture are matched to one another.

In addition to the transverse veneer and divided by thread intarsia, the head of the Bohemia is above all the headgear concept. So we see the typical Bohemian gallery above the head part and a typical Prague subject motif on the front-side upper corners.
Due to the low height, the tops of the cupboards are also veneered.

Both cupboards are equipped with the original dental strips on the inside, which ensure a height adjustability of the shelves. There are three floors in one closet, in the other one floor and a rod. Floors were simply retrofitted as required.

Condition: cleaned up and polished with shellac.
