About This Piece

Contemporary Design

Caruma is the Portuguese word for 'Pine Needles'. This element is stitched by hand in the top of a ceramic piece. This project, by Eneida Lombe Tavares, plays a tribute to the cultural heritage of the designer. On one hand, we have the earthenware - with a strong tradition in the specific context where the project was carried out (Caldas da Rainha, PT) and on the other, the Angolan basketry - where part of the designer roots come from. The Caruma vessel is one of the most iconic projects produced by Vicara.

Delivery Details

Delivery will be completed by a parcel service such as UPS, DHL, or FedEx.

A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
A signature will be required upon delivery.
