It is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MOMA)

Joe Colombo, well-known Italian industrial designer, after studying art and architecture in Milan, began experimenting with new materials such as thermoplastics and fiberglass to build futuristic designs, some of which are still in production today. In 1962 he founded his own studio. The Boby cart was originally conceived for use in the office, but its versatility made it a popular object for use in other environments, such as kitchens, bathrooms... Colombo's brilliant career was short as he unfortunately died at the age of 41 in 1971

Bieffeplast began its activity in 1958 and became an important company promoting the economic recovery of the Padua area after the war. It closed in 1999
