About This Piece

Vintage Design

This armchair made of curved ash is an aesthetic and technical challenge. Its base is made of a single piece of curved solid wood, which forms the armrest. A brass ring, the only point of attachment, joins the base and backrest, ensuring flexibility and great seating comfort. Both simple and ingenious, we like the "Bow Wood" chairs manufactured by Steiner in the 1950s. Here, Steiner uses the techniques of bending wood to produce pieces with a bold and resolutely modern design.
