Straub embodies a distinctly brutalist, rustic character with unique nobility and elegance. The red-stained softwood frame impresses with its construction of clearly defined horizontal and vertical lines. The seat cushions rest on linen straps, rounding off the frame's overall design language, a rare statement piece.

The color scheme of these chairs and the suede upholstery is highly varied, ranging from beige tones to an almost silvery light brown and shades of red. Depending on the light, these armchairs set different accents; the combination of material and function is evident here in this piece of furniture by Carl Straub.
The seat cushions are fitted with a high-quality suede/spring pad and offer a high level of seating comfort.
