Brutalist sideboard by De Coene, Belgium – 1970s.
A superb bar cabinet with a brutalist design, recognizable by its striking interplay of contrasts: a warm-toned wood veneer (with elegant grain) highlighted by a central black column composed of panels with raised, concentric patterns, a true visual signature. The large, round black handles reinforce the bold, sculptural aesthetic of the period.
