This is an Italian wooden coat rack designed by Mauro Pasquinelli for Pallavisini. The coat rack is lacquered with an orange varnish which is a typical color for that period. The hooks are formed by plywood slats which giver the impression of a cactus. That's why it is called 'cactus'.
