This sober design, unrivaled in comfort, has grown to be an icon of our time. Its notable frame, almost entirely hidden from view, creates an open appearance. The Axel’s seat cushion leans back in a natural downwards slope, providing optimal comfort as a result. The AXEL is the ultimate sofa that welcomes you with a distinct sense of luxury.

Montis specialise in Industrial Elegance; designed to float over the floor, the feet/legs/sled base are discreet, matt black and set far back from the front edge; deep and large, this can be used as a loveseat or bumped up against the full couch to create a corner sofa; woven hopsack blend fabric in white and tan; nifty leather name-tag around the back; contemporary modern Dutch Design.
