Vintage Design

Vintage Danish ceramic table lamp produced by Søholm Keramik on the island of Bornholm and designed by ceramic artists Arne Finne and Noomi Backhausen in the 1960s–1970s.

The lamp features a beautifully glazed stoneware base with characteristic hand-carved relief decoration typical of Søholm ceramics from this period. The soft green glaze combined with the sculptural pattern creates a refined example of Scandinavian mid-century modern lighting, reflecting the craftsmanship and artistic tradition of Danish studio pottery.

The lamp has been carefully refreshed while maintaining its vintage character. It is fitted with a new handmade lampshade in olive-colored linen, chosen to complement the tones of the ceramic glaze and enhance the warm atmospheric light typical of Danish interior design. The original wiring has also been replaced with a high-quality fabric-covered cord, giving the lamp a clean and authentic Scandinavian appearance.

A beautiful and collectible piece of 1960s–1970s Danish ceramic lighting, ideal for interiors focused on Scandinavian design, mid-century modern décor, and vintage studio pottery.
