About This Piece

Vintage Design

Rare "Flip-Top" stool/side table "OD 57" designed in the 1950s by renowned Danish industrial designer Erik Buck (Buch).

As with this piece of furniture, his designs are characterized by a simple, organic aesthetic that combines fine wood (teak) with natural upholstery fabrics (wool).

The stool was manufactured in Denmark by O.D. Møbler (formerly Oddense Maskinsnedkeri) and distributed by Domus Danica in the 1960s. Listed in the online archive of the Design Museum Danmark under the name "OD 57."

Can be used as either a stool or a side table by folding down the tabletop.
Beautiful teak with wool fabric (color RAL 1015 light ivory).

Marked with a sticker on the lower table frame.

The table is in very good condition. Only a few scratches/dents on the edge of the tabletop due to use.
