A set of two pot chairs designed by Arne Jacobsen and manufactured by Fritz Hansen in Denmark in the 1950s. These chairs feature their original leather upholstery, that still remains in a good condition with a patina. They were bought from their first owner who bought the chairs in 1959 and clearly took very good care of them. The bases of these pieces are made from chromed metal. In good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a patina.

Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) was one of Denmark's most influential 20th century architects and designers. Both his buildings and products, like his Swan and Egg chairs, combine modernist ideals with a Nordic love of naturalism.
