Rare Danish Rosewood desk with tambour doors, 1950s.

Large and impressive Danish rosewood/palisander executive desk. Twin pedestal cabinets with tambour/rolling doors. This exquisite desk was made in Denmark in the 1940s by Plan Møbler / A/S Planmøbel and designed by Hans J. Wegner.

Behind the tambour doors are four drawers and a glass topped leaf. Drawers features several different types of metal dividers, that can be rearranged. Beautiful and expressive Rosewood veneer grain patterns.
Original key is included.

The desk is finished on the back, so it can be used freestanding. This table top is larger than the documented standard models, so it is most likely bespoke by Plan Møbler.

Will be transported disassembled for more economical shipping.

Very good original condition. A few scratches on the inward facing side of the cabinets and on front of drawers. Ink stains/blemishes inside drawers.
Cleaned and polished.
