Galerie Room

Located in the heart of the Parisian 18th arrondissement, Galerie Room is a space dedicated to contemporary design, founded by Violaine d’Harcourt and Ludivine Chabert in early 2016. d’Harcourt is a designer who studied first at Camondo in Paris, before getting a Master’s degree in Industrial Design in Milan. Chabert, meanwhile, has a background in Communication, studying first in Paris and then in London, where she subsequently worked in PR. United by their passion for contemporary design, the two gallerists returned to the French capital to establish Galerie Room.

Each piece shown by the gallery is selected carefully by the owners; they look for works by young, exciting, independent designers working in high-quality materials. All of the pieces are handmade and either unique or produced in small series. Designers on the gallery’s roster include Marta Bakowski, Côme de Rabaudy, Haos, and d’Harcourt’s own work.
