munichmodern
MUNICHMODERN, which is run by art and design enthusiasts Hatice and Mustafa Melik Kücükballi, is located in the beautiful district of Munich-Schwabing. The gallery boasts a large collection of rare art and design objects, with the main focus on works of art from the early 1920s to the late 1970s. MUNICHMODERN is very adamant about not confining themselves to specific epochs or regions, because, as they reveal, "beauty knows no bounds for us, whether temporally or spatially." Accordingly, they appreciate the reduced forms of the Bauhaus, as well as the beautiful and rare designs of the great American, French, Italian, and Scandinavian designers of the mid-century era, as well as limited edition works by many other contemporary designers.
