Bullenberg

Bullenberg is a young Berlin-based design label composed of Albrecht von Alvensleben, Maximilian Pauen and Anna Prinzhorn, with a unique story. In 2013, a mutual friend of Max and Albrecht was in search of a solid oak table top for his Kreuzberg home. The pair offered to help out by supplying wood from Albrecht’s family forest in Saxony-Anhalt, and the success of this venture led to the beginning of Bullenberg. Both Max and Albrecht gained their credentials in architecture in Vienna before working in architectural studios in Berlin, New York and London. Not limited to their architectural endeavors, Albrecht’s photographic work has been published and exhibited, while Max, a former apprentice to British furniture designer Paul Kelley, has won competitions for his urban design. The von Alvensleben forest remains the inspiration and exclusive resource for Bullenberg, which designs and manufactures bespoke oak furniture. Because the tables are individually crafted, they can be tailored to meet the specifications of each client. Uniting architectural design and intregity with a commitment to local manufacture, Bullenberg produces truly one of a kind furniture.
