Eyal Burstein

Berlin, Germany

Born in Tel Aviv in 1977, Eyal Burstein grew up in London. He studied Graphic Design at the London College of Printing, before pursing his MA in Design Interactions at the Royal College of Art. After graduating in 2006, he founded Beta Tank, a conceptual product design practice dedicated to cross-disciplinary research and the development of objects for social commentary.

Standout projects include Beta Tank’s Taxing Art and Sensory Substitution series, as well as the recent Beta installation, commissioned for Swarovski Crystal Palace and presented at Design Miami 2012.

As of 2013, Burstein has begun working under his own name. He lives and works in Berlin.
