Vintage Design

Desk table inlaid with neoclassical decorations and allegories and grotesques both on the edge and on the top, with ebony stained wood structure, plating masterfully executed by a skilled cabinetmaker who managed to create three-dimensionality in the work. The excellent quality with which the desk was made recalls that of the famous Milanese cabinetmaker Ferdinando Pogliani from the late 19th century. Turned grooved legs joined by a cross, three drawers and a wavy top.
