Vintage Design

A stunning pair of early 20th century lamps in the form of gilt poppy heads and leaves, complemented by black shades with gold beaded tassle edges, which add a wonderful boudoir feel when lit. The detail of the poppy heads and leaves is incredibly intricate; the base leaves cleverly forming the foot of the lamp. Originally candlesticks and converted into lamps many years ago, they have been lightly cleaned to preserve the wonderful old gold patination. Professionally rewired with a length of flex measuring 235cm, offering plenty of scope for placing in a room, or either side of a bed.

44cm H x 16cm W x 16cm D (lamp foot 12cm W, shades: 17cm H x 16cm D) weighs 2.5kg.
