About This Piece

This piece is exceptional,
commissioned in 2005 by the city of Brussels to be exhibited in a tunnel under the city of Brussels.

The dimensions are exceptional, 470cm long and 280cm high in the form of faux wood panels.

The artist had free choice of the subject, for this masterful piece he was inspired by a terrible news item in Belgium in the 1990s where Mr Dutroux had kidnapped and left young children to die.

which explains the very harsh texts found on this work of art. after 15 years of pollution and various graffiti the piece is badly damaged. I had the opportunity to have it recovered and restored for 2 years To eliminate layer by layer the different tags and find its almost intact state, I simply left some traces of the past which gives meaning to this major piece of this internationally renowned artist, he is exhibited at Art Basel, Art Miami and present in many international museums. some accidents on the angles are visible, but they are part of the history of this masterpiece.
