About This Piece

The sculpture depicts a life-size figure of a woman. it is made with an internal structure of plastic material, externally then covered with colorful fake nails. A cloth is applied to the woman's head, depicting her hair. Enrica Borghi has created and continues to create a heterogeneous universe that comes alive and takes life from materials that our society rejects and discards. A creative gesture that gives new life, beauty and form to objects destined for landfill and oblivion.
