The luxuriant flower motifs of this Hand-tufted Designer Rug are elegant and varied. The graceful vegetative symbols representing flowers, leaves and branches are artfully intertwined. The edge of the rug is decorated with an edging (border). The border forms a beautiful contrast to the center. The repeating elements in the center field of this Hand-tufted Designer Rug rug have no specific center (so-called repeating pattern). The repeating pattern has a calming but not boring effect. Rugs with repeating patterns are also called patterned. The background of this Hand-tufted Designer Rug is rusty red. The border features beige and rusty red. You are not the first to appreciate this Hand-tufted Designer Rug. It has had owners before you who have cherished and used it. It was hand tufted about 1990. It has been thoroughly cleaned and only partially restored condition but is in good condition. We have not completely restored this Hand-tufted Designer Rug because we think it is as it is a special charm. The pile of this Hand-tufted Designer Rug has been hand-knotted from high-quality virgin wool. Virgin wool is obtained through the gentle shearing of sheep. Virgin wool is a sustainable, natural raw material with a number of impressive properties; due to the wool's natural fat content, the surface repels water droplets and is thus naturally impervious to dirt. Wool also offers excellent thermal insulation, has a regulating effect on living climate and muffles sound.
