A Ceiling Light with Floral Flair - Meet this lovely vintage French gilt metal flush-mount fixture, shaped like a golden flower in full bloom, its petals unfurling in sculpted tole with crystal blossoms. With three lights nestled among delicate leaves and glimmering blooms, this beauty strikes the perfect chord between ornate glamour and botanical grace.

Think Hans Kögl’s floral fantasies—but older and very much in the Maison Baguès spirit. While Kögl’s 1970s creations were icons in their own right, this piece predates them, blooming sometime earlier in the mid-century French style parade.

The gilt metal has developed that soft, lived-in patina we love. The wiring’s been checked, so she's ready to dazzle straight from the box.

Can it be used as a wall light too? Mais bien sûr. Ceiling or wall, it’s flexible—and it shines either way. Whether in a hallway, a powder room, or floating above a moody velvet reading nook, this floral flush mount will turn any ceiling or wall into a conversation starter.

Can this lamp be used in the U.S.? This ceiling fixture features universal wiring designed for the higher European voltage (220–240V), but it can easily handle the lower U.S. voltage (110–120V). While the wiring is fully compatible, the bulbs must also be suitable for the lower U.S. voltage. The ceiling light is fitted with E14 sockets, a European standard similar to the U.S. candelabra base (E12). To use it in the U.S., you’ll need 110V E14-compatible bulbs, which are widely available online or at electrical supply stores in the U.S. So to answer your question: yes, this lamp can be used in the U.S. The wiring has been thoroughly checked. We always recommend inviting your favourite licensed electrician over for the install.
