Vintage Design

A stunning French notary cabinet with flaps, made of oak and cherrywood, by cabinet makers Mercedes, Paris. 20 compartments with their label holder and pull out handle. The cabinet has a unique design where the drawers remain hidden under a flap which lifts up when the internal drawer is pulled out using the brass pull. Great storage for papers, files, books, shoes, clothes etc. Dimensions: Height: 207cm Width: 82cm Depth: 33cm Individual compartment dimensions: Height: 17cm Width: 38.5cm Circa: 1940s Workshop Report: Overall good vintage condition- with smooth operating flaps. Some historical markings to the wood in places. As with all our products, this product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.
