Antique French style console side table in good original condition & dating from around the 1950s period.

The top, sides & drawer fronts are kingwood with rosewood cross bandings, while the carved legs are solid walnut or mahogany. The drawers have mahogany compartments with some baize on the bottom. I think this item was designed to use for cutlery inside. The drawers also have gilt metal handles & locks.

This is quite an elegant piece of furniture & good quality throughout.
